On Saturday, June 2, Kaufhold & Reveillaud, Avocats, joined in the festivities at the official opening of Luxembourg\u2019s House of Startups (HoST).<\/p>\n
The launch of this massive facility, totaling nearly 6,000 square meters and ready to accommodate up to 200 startups, represents a major milestone for the local ecosystem.<\/p>\n
The premises will house the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT), nyuko and the new Luxembourg City Incubator. By bringing all of these actors together, the HoST aims to better serve the nation\u2019s startups by consolidating relevant resources in one place.<\/p>\n
Events like the House of Startups launch remind us how far Luxembourg\u2019s ecosystem has come in such a short amount of time.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
This large-scale initiative symbolizes the country\u2019s dedication to welcoming and supporting startups. Luxembourg\u2019s rapidly-growing community of innovators rely on the right talents, means, programs and funding to succeed.<\/p>\n

When outlining this project, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce focused on two priorities: attracting and developing startups, and connecting the HoST to the national ecosystem.<\/p>\n
It hopes that this modern new campus, located near the central train station, will build upon Luxembourg\u2019s momentum and help fortify the country\u2019s position as a global innovation hub.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo attract and develop startups Luxembourg needs to have the right support systems in place,\u201d noted Faid. \u201cWe all have a part to play. By offering services designed for startups, we aim to contribute to that effort.\u201d<\/p>\n
